Hands For Eyes

Creative people usually see things in the imagination before they appear in the world. They envision their creation before they fashion it. Without our hands, our visions would never become reality. Our hands create what we already see, therefore our hands are our eyes.

Human/ Artist/ Designer

As humans we constantly catagorize and label things so we can distinguish them. People tend to label themselves in relation to the human race, rather than to the world as a whole. I am not a bird, a bear, or a bee, I am a human. As a human I am an artist and designer. Although I wouldn't mind being a bird.

I wanted to create an image that shows how people, especially as children, create their own fantastical worlds. I think people lose this ability as they grow older. Those who have been able to hold on to it, use it as a valuable tool to generate original ideas.
