This image symbolizes exploration in all its forms. The figure on the left holds a pair of binoculars: Seeing what lies ahead. The middle figure is unlocking the door to himself: Self-exploration. The figure on the right wears a deep diving helmet for exploring the depths while his fingers each have a fishing line tied on: Feeling what’s around. Their ship is a Brown Pelican that's found in the Galapagos, which holds a strong tie to explorer Charles Darwin. Each figure is nude as to not distract from the symbolic devices they each use. Seeing, Being, Feeling represents what I hope to achieve as a creative person, and that is why I created it for my portfolio cover.
