Hello, my name is Sean Langedijk. Hands For Eyes serves as an online portfolio to showcase my work as an interactive and visual designer. Originally I am from the beautiful city of Vancouver, where in 2008 I graduated from IDEA ( Illustration & Design : Elements & Applications ) Program at Capilano University. Soon after I moved to Amsterdam where I have since lived and worked for Coffee Company, Resoluut, and freelanced for various clients. I have a passion for creativity and strive to produce engaging work, whether it be web design, branding, or illustration. As a designer I am responsible for communicating information in an honest and engaging way, while keeping in mind each clients needs and aspirations. Concept driven design is what excites me most because it can leave a lasting impression, so long as it's a positive one. Why Hands For Eyes? Our hands help fashion what we already see in our imagination. Understanding a problem and creating a solution is the heart of interactive and visual communication. When I'm not designing I'm usually drawing, painting, riding my bike, or enjoying a delicious beer. |
