Hello, my name is Sean Langedijk. Hands For Eyes serves as an online portfolio to showcase my work as an interactive and visual designer. Originally I am from the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada, where in 2008 I graduated from the IDEA ( Illustration & Design : Elements & Applications ) Program at Capilano University. Soon after I moved to Amsterdam where I have lived ever since. I have worked as an in-house designer for Coffee Company creating concepts for print ads and interactive design. Afterwards I worked at Resoluut for over 2 years where I was able to add my personal touch to various Dutch corporate clients including RTL5, Zilveren Kruis, and L.A. Fuel. I am currently working as a freelance interactive and visual designer for national and international clients. I have a passion for creativity and strive to produce engaging work, whether it be web design, branding, or illustration. As a designer I am responsible for communicating information in an honest and effective way, while keeping in mind each clients needs and aspirations. Concept driven design is what excites me the most because it can leave a lasting impression. Why Hands For Eyes? Our hands help fashion what we already see in our imagination. As a designer, at the heart of interactive and visual communication, is my insight into my clients intentions and/or visions, bringing them to life with my hands. |
